In this edition of Tech Tuesday, Amcham is hosting a panel discussion featuring leading experts in the field of digital inclusion, including representatives from government, civil society, and the private sector. The discussions will focus on ways to increase digital literacy among women and other marginalised groups, and strategies for bridging the digital divide.

The graduation party invites discussions on why it is important to start digital education early in children learning journey, and why kids should `code to learn` rather than `learn to code'. There will be drinks and nibbles for you to meet friends, parents and partners who are also passionate about tech and education, right after the student showcase.
Tiny Coding Cats is a 6-weekend program for students aged 8-12 years old, with a fun curriculum based on the world’s most famous block-based coding language - Scratch. Starting in October, the course will deliver creative coding lessons to 100 students in Phnom Penh, in partnership with the innovative Saturday Kids from Singapore. All courses are free of charge. The first SmartScale Demo Day is finally here after a 3-month intensive bootcamp with regional and local startup mentors. Come learn about and talk to the 11 local startup teams who have developed through the accelerator program, as well as hear insights from industry leaders.

Smart Scale is a three-month acceleration programme in which young founders find partners, advisors and investors to scale and support their early stage start-ups. Aside from the business workshops, participants have the chance to meet their mentors from various business sectors with international expertise to help them overcome business barriers.

The first ever Women in Tech Meetup is a 3-hour workshop intended to celebrate women in tech, providing a safe space for women to openly discuss how they have overcome challenges they are facing in the industry, and nurture the Women in Tech community in Cambodia.
This programme is a collaboration between USAID’s Development Innovations (DI) and Raintree.

The SmartStart Hackathon is the first of three phases of the SmartStart Young Innovator Program. The SmartStart program aims to enable and empower young Cambodian university talents to launch their own tech startups together with Smart Axiata. The Hackathon is a two-day event where teams will prototype their products and pitch to get through to the next stage.
