Graduation Party of *Tiny* Coding Cats

  • at the Canopy @ Raintree (map)

Tiny* Coding Cats graduation party celebrates Cambodian students aged 8-12 yrs who will showcase their own original animated games built after the 6-weekend programme. Started in October with a fun curriculum based on the world’s most famous block-based coding language Scratch, the course will deliver creative coding lessons to 100 students in Phnom Penh, based on the innovative programmes from Saturday Kids, Singapore.

The graduation party invites discussions on why it is important to start digital education early in children learning journey, and why kids should ‘code to learn’ rather than ‘learn to code’. There will be drinks and nibbles for you to meet friends, parents and partners who are also passionate about tech and education, right after the student showcase.

10:00 Arrival of partners, media, parents, students, and guests
10:30 Hands-on Scratch workshops by students, family photos
11:00 Welcome remark by Nora Viblanc, Tiny Coding Cats Instructor and MC
