cambodia’s tech startup ecosystem in 2018

This research provides an independent snapshot of the Cambodian tech startup sector in 2018, characterising existing challenges and an outlook for the future of the sector. The report synthesises the views of over 120 stakeholders to provide a comprehensive perspective of the ecosystem that intends to:

• Provide a fact-based overview of the current tech startup ecosystem for potential investors, policy-makers, industry professionals, educators and entrepreneurs.

• Identify key challenges, opportunities and existing support resources in the ecosystem.

• Catalyse constructive discourse by providing recommendations to enable more systematic approaches for all stakeholders to develop the Cambodian digital economy.
