Portrait photography is more than just capturing a face—it’s about understanding, connecting, and telling stories through imagery. In today’s visual world, this skill is essential for creatives, artists, and storytellers alike. Team Raintree is thrilled to announce our latest Creative Masterclass: Portrait Photography & Storytelling, in partnership with Sony Cambodia. This masterclass is designed as a 3-part learning journey and will be led by Tytaart, a self-taught visual artist known for her emotionally rich portraits that speak to emotion, identity, and everyday life.
To celebrate the creative journeys of our participants, the program will culminate in a group exhibition featuring selected works developed during the masterclass. This public exhibition will run for six weeks, providing a meaningful platform for participants to share their stories and perspectives with a wider audience.
About Tytaart
After studying Design Management in London and New York, Cambodian photographer Tytaart returned home to Phnom Penh — where she found the stories she most wanted to tell. Tyta’s work is guided by what she calls a “serene gaze”: a thoughtful lens that honours Cambodian identity, women, and often-overlooked communities. Through celebrated series like Women I Love and Metamorphosis in Love, Tytaa explores photography as a medium of empathy, presence, and connection. For more information about Tyta’s portfolio, please visit: www.tytaart.com.
She joins the Raintree community to lead this hands-on portrait photography masterclass — an invitation to slow down, look closely, and see with new intention.
