As the end of the year fast approaches, we’re getting in the festive mood here at Raintree. From peppermints to poinsettias, the building is littered with Christmas cheer, and we switched on our lights last week in anticipation.
As our ground floor is fully opened, we’re so happy to give you an overview of our independent retailers. All powered by young Khmer entrepreneurs, we also share how they’re each celebrating Christmas in stores right now!
Brown Coffee & Bakery. Our famous home-grown coffee brand up their game every year with new seasonal delicious baked goods and beverages. Special editions this year include the ‘Peppermint Mocha Frappe’ (which looks more like a delectable dessert than a drink!) and the return of their Christmas log cakes in three flavours. If that wasn’t enough, you can take home your very own mini Brown Santa Claus or snowman - so cute!
Poise Mera. Our local lobby florist has been making bespoke bouquets for the last three years. They are well stocked with an array of Christmas-coloured flowers including roses, poinsettias and more. Whether you’re looking for a customised wreath for your home, or a holly-decked arrangement for your office, the Poise ladies will work their floral magic - baubles, pine cones and all.
The Nail Shop. Our professional nail salon is perfect for either a full service, relaxing spa mani-pedi, or an express colour when you’re rushing to an event. Their nail-art showcase is to die for, and their therapists can create glamorous glittering nails for all your Christmas parties. To top it off this month they’re offering 30% of all services to ensure your nails stay pristine all season.
Juicy Mercy. This is the third outlet of the nutritious brand, that is bringing its famous cold-pressed juices to all our health-conscious residents at Raintree. If you don’t want to gain those Christmas pounds, try their Fat Down juice with killer kale, ginger and passionfruit, or their Berry White packed with antioxidants to make sure your skin glows brightly all season long. Combine either of these with a delicious lunchbox offer for only $3.50, for the perfect healthy lunch on-the-go. It’s never too early to start your 2017 new year’s resolution…
Daily Plus. Started by a Khmer-American brother-sister duo, Daily Plus is an independent convenience store for all your everyday needs. Located on the north-west corner of Raintree, the outlet stocks basic goods across a wide range of categories. From cookies and crisps to soft drinks, pick up anything you need at home this Christmas, with special Buy 1 Get 1 Free deals on a whole range of party items. *Tip: look out on Friday 16th December for their special Wall’s ice cream truck stopping by at Raintree - because we all scream for ice cream during tropical Christmas!
Village Roast Duck. A sister restaurant of the well-known family-run restaurant from Malaysia, is now serving its contemporary Cantonese cuisine in Cambodia right at our doorstep. Hailing from London’s famous Four Seasons on Queensway, they’re known for their duck, but there are so many more dishes to try… For this Christmas only, they will be serving their special Wasabi Prawns - crispy tempura prawns coated in house-made wasabi-laced sauce. Come down this month to try it yourself. This month they're also giving away half a Peking duck for free with spend over $50 at dinner for the perfect family meal. And of course, you can pre-order whole roast ducks and soya sauce chickens for all your Christmas celebrations.
