You’ll hear the jingle bells the moment you step foot into our project on the last Friday of the month. With the fairy lights sparkling, trees lavishly decorated and presents tucked beneath - you’ve guessed it: Christmas has arrived Raintree! The joy-filled holiday season is upon us once again, so we are thrilled to welcome you to our rooftop for the third year, for two days of serious celebration with delicious food, pop-up stalls, music and laughter. Get your sparkling outfits on and come celebrate in style with us.

Who’s coming? (besides Santa Claus)

Only some of our finest and most talented artisan friends! Staying true to Raintree’s mission, Christmas @ Raintree honours what’s most important about the holiday season: community. This is why, in our aspiration to be more than a workspace, this festival is the one time of the year where we bring together absolutely everyone from our wider community to connect and celebrate.

This year’s theme ‘Siem Reap in the City’ extends our creative community even further with the arrival of over 50 creatives and entrepreneurs from the majestic city, as well as across the region. To whet your aesthetic appetite some of our featured designers include Theam’s House Gallery with their lacquerware and artefacts, Ammo with their handmade jewellery from bullet casings and Loyuyu, our favourite local ceramics.

And of course if you haven’t heard already, brace yourself for the reveal of the beautiful design book Siem Reap: A Designer’s Perspective, by photographer and designer Nataly Lee and architect Hok Kang. This is the first publication to explore Siem Reap’s contemporary culture in all its forms, away from Pub Street and popular tourist traps. To mark this joyous pre-launch, there will also be a prize giveaway featuring incredible gifts, including 5* luxury hotel stay, worth over $1000!

From a Santa Claus appearance to crazy face painting, there are plentiful activities to keep the little ones busy and creative.

For the bigger kids, there is an abundance of naughty treats like Samai’s Spiced Rum tastings and Seeker’s Gin craft cocktails flowing all weekend. Keeping us well fed this festival are Al’s Tacos, bringing California’s signature tacos to Phnom Penh; Brown Coffee and Bakery with their special coffee-inspired treats; and Fat Passion with their signature fried chicken and homemade fries. Don’t you worry about holiday weight, because Fitbowl will also be here serving their hearty and healthy meals so you can be uncompromisingly festive!
